I have had the HA-434RTL and four HA-434TL sensors for two years. The system has worked great with no issues. I have the Receiver on a timer, and it turns on in the evening and off in the morning. It is located by my bed, and I can tell which sensor by the beeps. I can hear it in the living room also. It lets me know if someone has opened the side gate or has walked up the side of the house to the back yard. I use it in the alert mode and not the alarm mode. Still works with 3.5volts on the 9-volt battery. I change out after about nine months.
